This policy explains how the personal data of visitors and customers of hirudo-romania.com is collected and processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

• Order data: name, delivery/billing address, e-mail, phone — needed to process and deliver orders.
• Contact form data: name, e-mail, message.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited — via cookies (see Cookie Policy).

• Processing orders and delivering products — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Issuing fiscal documents — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Replying to contact requests — legitimate interest / consent (Art. 6(1)(a)/(f)).
• Statistics/marketing cookies — only based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Data recipients

• The courier provider (for delivery).
• The web hosting provider of the site.
• The payment processor (for online payments, once enabled).
• Meta Platforms Ireland — only if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp button (action initiated by you).

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

5. Retention period

Order data is kept for the period required by fiscal and accounting law (generally 10 years for financial documents). Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may exercise these rights by writing to the contact e-mail.

7. International transfer and security

The fonts displayed on the site are hosted locally, on the site’s own server — no data is sent to external font servers. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data (secure HTTPS connection, restricted access).
